Spring is right around the corner in New York, and George is stocking up on season appropriate footwear for his time there. We like to look fresh right outta the JFK terminal.

It can be tough, however, to find the right kicks for warm city weather. We don’t do sandals, and boat shoes are for on deck purposes. Our boots and laceups feel a little heavy, not quite balancing lighter spring wardrobe. Then we found the perfect answer in Heutchy.

Classic at their core – yet modern in their detailing – Heutchy shoes finesse timeless silhouettes with a touch of contemporary brio. Their brogues and derbys are a must for every man – smart and well-crafted, suitable for any occasion. Best of all, their unique colors and styles make them spot-on for spring.

The Manner II classic derbys with perforated Italian leather (available in grey, black and baby blue hues) are our favorites. We also like the Manner II in English suede, and the two-tone leather-suede blocking on the Alex saddle shoes.

We might add that our lady friends are rather crazy about Heutchy’s Spring 2011 line, too. Perhaps designer Wells Stellberger should consider making them in women’s as well? Until then, we’ll enjoy all the compliments. Heutchy sells at select men’s stores worldwide.
